So… Why Galactic Emporium? Well, the name itself is hopefully quite memorable - and it sounds better than ‘Big Shop’ Thats it really.
What is Galactic Emporium?
What’s the point? Well, I’ve been thinking about that one for some time. Basically, Its likely you found us whilst conducting a Google search for a term like GPS or Sat Nav or Tom Tom - Google (or AltaVista, Yahoo, MSN search etc) liked our relevance to your search term and ranked us near enough to the top for you to look, be interested and CLICK… and then you where here!
You will find on Galactic Emporium, reviews and discussions relating to the latest in consumer electronics gadgetry. PDA’s, GPS units, Sat Nav, Mobile Phones and in the coming weeks, months - the list will grow. You will also find our Galactic Emporium ebay stores, where you can bid or buy it now on the gadget of your hearts contentment. Presently we have USA and UK ebay stores but there are more in the pipeline.
It isnt a random list of gadgets either. This site is optomised and contains listings for what the googleing, Yahoo Searching public is looking for. At Galactic Emporium, we have spent time and money to research web search trends with the likes of TerraPeak, Trellian’s keyword Discovery and Google Insights. So in theory, what you are looking for - should be here! Given a few more weeks development anyhow.
Why not just go to eBay?
Well, you could! But if you started searching with a google search and google brought you here, you may as well carry on into ebay through Galactic Emporium! Also, believe it or not, there are some people who have never used or maybe even heard of ebay!. You can sign up as an ebay member if you click on any of the ‘Right Now on eBay’ links in the Galactic Stores.
Furthermore, if you are looking for a Garmin Nuvi Sat Nav device for example, our Stores wil display hundreds of listings for just that item, you wont have to search through pages of accessories, cables, batteries etc before you find what you want. If you want an accessory, just type ‘Nuvi 600 battery’ into the search box and you will get listings for just that.
